About
Mr Brit's Guide...
Hi,
I am Mr Brit and I holiday in one destination only - Orlando in
Florida. I have written and independently publish what I and many
readers consider to be the best Brits Guide To Orlando
available.
This guide is an 'everything you need to know'
style covering Walt Disney World and all of the other tourist attractions
of Orlando. This guide is a very detailed planning and savings guide
covering all aspects of your holiday planning.
Mr Brits Guide To Orlando doesn't just cover Walt Disney World and
the other main attractions,
it also covers in detail - Dinner Shows, restaurants and even American
fast food chains that you may not be aware of. Mr Brits
Guide To Orlando reviews all
of Orlando's theme park rides and shows in detail. Mr
Brits Guide To Orlando
will also learn you that not every theme park or dinner show in
Orlando will suit your specific family and choosing the right places
to visit could make or break your holiday. Mr
Brits Guide To Orlando
also tells you how you could save hundreds of pounds on your Orlando
tickets and meals.
Buying
tickets for an Orlando theme park from a ticket company based in
the UK is always going to cost you a lot more than buying it somewhere
else in the world as we all know, we live in rip-off Britain
where everything costs more no matter what the exchange rate is
doing. Buying from my recommended ticket company that we use in
the USA could save you up to a thousand pounds depending on the
size of your family.

Contents Page of the guide and you will
see how detailed this Mr Brit's Guide To Orlando
really is...
Mr
Brits Guide to Orlando 2009 contains all Theme
Park Maps of Orlando and the popular Busch Gardens in Tampa.
This best selling CD guide contains 14
large maps for you to view or print
including all of the Walt Disney World theme park maps, Universal
Studios, Islands Of Adventure, Seaworld, Aquatica and more. Planning
the holiday is great fun and by having all of these maps to hand
during your holiday planning stage, you will have an advantage over
the crowds before you even reach the theme parks.
..... everything Brits
need to know is in the 'Mr Brits Guide To Orlando' .....
Mr
Brit's 5 Star Ratings. Orlando's
theme park rides and shows reviewed in great detail and accompanied
by a Mr Brit Rating
If
you had only 1 day in a theme park. This feature is great
for visitors planning to spend only one day in a specific theme
park. Entry can be very expensive, especially with the weak Pound
so my guide will tell you what should be at the top of your list
and what deserves to be at the bottom of your list so you get as
much value as possible from your theme park tickets
Which
theme parks and dinner shows are you going to visit on your dream
holiday to Orlando? there are so many to choose from. You could
do what we did on our last holiday (for research purposes) and visit
...
... Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Epcot,
Universal Studios, Islands Of
Adventure, Busch Gardens, Seaworld, Aquatica, Kennedy Space Centre,
Wet 'n' Wild, Cypress Gardens, Cocoa Beach, Sleuths Mystery Dinner
Show, Arabian Nights, Medieval Times and Pirates Dinner...
... but I wouldn't recommend it. It would set you back a fortune
(even with my money saving tips for attraction tickets) and you
would also need a holiday when you arrived back in the UK. My Mr
Brits Guide To Orlando will help you choose the right parks
to visit and the best shows to see. I have visited all of these
attractions on numerous occasions and I want to help you spend your
time and your money wisely.
Experience is a great thing but it could cost you a fortune!
'One
for the album' Great photo opportunities will be easier
to find in the Orlando theme parks with the Mr Brit's "one
for the album" feature.
This icon pops up many times throughout the guide to let you know
about a great photo opportunity for that Dream Holiday
album.
A
Thumbs Up (and there are many) is Mr Brit's way of telling
you a "cheat" or a good bit of advice that you need
to know. This icon appears commonly throughout this great guide,
alerting you to Top Tips and some Must
Do's in the Orlando theme parks
A
Thumbs Down is the opposite. There are a few not so nice
things about Orlando (not many, but a few) and Mr Brit
will let you know what they are and how to avoid terrible rides
and shows or even being scammed by dodgy locals
Getting
Around!!! is Mr Brit's guide
to car hire, driving on the wrong side of the road and the public
transport in Orlando.
There is also a handy GPS Drivers Guide that lists
addresses and phone numbers of over a hundred Orlando 'places of
interest' such as theme parks, restaurants, shopping malls, supermarkets,
hospitals, British pubs etc.
Another bonus included for owners of a TomTom GPS system is a folder
with POI's of all of the Orlando's main attractions

Shop
'til you drop!!! is Mr Brits guide to shopping in central
Florida. This section lists and describes all of the most popular
shopping malls and stores in Orlando. Customs allowances and advice
is also featured in this great section of the guide
The Planning section of the guide covers many,
many things and here are just a few...
when are the best times to book your holiday,
how to save BIG money on your next holiday booking, how to plan
your theme park visits so you don't over-buy theme
park tickets, which parks are right for your childrens ages, what
to do on a rainy day..... the list goes on
This guide will also tell you about the the NEW 2009 USA
travel rules and what you need to know before you close
your front door and head for the holiday of a lifetime. There are
many great tips in the guide to help you make the most out of your
holiday such as: how to avoid the busy times
at the theme parks, currency - how
and when to buy cheaply and how to avoid currency conversion charges
from your bank. The Pound is at its weakest for a long time so this
section will help you plan wisely and hopefully get a little bit
more for your money.
Orlando
At Night is the section of the guide that is devoted to
the over 21's. Great tips on where to drink and boogie or even take
in a world class show. Some of the best shows in
the world are right on your doorstep in Orlando and Mr Brit
covers many of them in this unique style of travel guide
Tickets
Please!!! is the section that covers all of the best ways
to buy your theme park and dinner show
tickets.
Mr Brit's top recommended ticket seller is the cheapest Orlando
ticket company out there and here are just a few comparisons against
one of the largest UK ticket seller prices:
Examples are calculated at the rate of £1 = $1.45 (and not
£1 = $2) so if the UK rate is currently better than this,
you will pay a lot less
7
realdays in Disney World Theme
Parks (the 4 main parks and not the cheaper water parks and DisneyQuest)
will cost you £219 from a top UK ticket company.
Mr Brit's recommended ticket seller will sell you a 10 day
Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket for just £157.
Please remember that this price is for the main 4 theme parks of
Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot & Animal Kingdom. This
ticket used to cost only £110 not so long ago but with the
poor exchange rate, all American theme park tickets have soared
in cost.
This reputable ticket company also sells tickets for both Universal
Studios theme parks, all Orlando dinner shows, Aquatica & Seaworld
etc etc
As
a family we buy the top-of-the-range Disney tickets
from this same company and this enables us to get our daily no-expiry
Disney visits down to just under $30 a day per adult. This price
is for no-expiry hopping between the 4 main theme parks 10 times.
The ticket also gives you access to the 2 water parks and DisneyQuest
upto 6 times.
This type of ticket is perfect for visiting Orlando on multiple
holidays and it does cost more but if you are going to Orlando for
the first time, you will be going back again and
that is guaranteed especially when you read in my guide how to pay
a lot less for your next holiday booking.
This Orlando guide isn't just a great money saving guide, more importantly
it will learn you how to safely buy your tickets...
Imagine this scenario:
...you're having a great time, the flight was effortless, your
hotel is beautiful and the sun is shining so what can go wrong.
The next day you wake up, cruise down to Walt Disney World in your
luxury rental car and get refused
entry because the second hand tickets you bought
back in the UK have already been used by someone else!.
You
may have paid a few thousand pounds for this holiday and it could
be ruined by trying to save a few quid before you left. Mr Brits
Guide To Orlando 2009 will tell you everything you need to know
about theme park tickets and also where you can buy tickets at the
best prices and most importantly - securely
Child Safety Slips & Cast Member Appreciation Certificates
you can print out these 2 great slips straight from your home printer.
Child Safety Slips
are great to place in your 'little ones' pockets
in case your worse nightmare happens and you lose your child in
a theme park. You write your mobile number on the slip and the theme
park staff will call you as soon as they find your lost child
Cast
Member Appreciation Certificates
are a great way of saying a 'BIG THANK
YOU' to the staff at Walt Disney World
theme parks. Disney's staff (Cast Members) are the best around and
they take great enjoyment
in making sure you have the best holiday possible. This small printable
certificate is a great way of thanking your favourite Cast Members
and you never
know... you may even receive a free Disney gift in return.

Crunch WARNINGS Due to the
current economic climate around the world, Mr Brits Guide
To Orlando has been updated with a new section warning
you about some of the risks of booking villas and tickets for an
Orlando holiday complete with tips to help you avoid losing money.
There is a real risk of British families losing money on holiday
bookings, ticket purchases, flights and villa bookings in Orlando
due to the Credit Crunch. Mr Brits Guide To Orlando
will give you tips on how to reduce the risk of losing your holiday
money to the Credit Crunch. The Credit Crunch could affect every
aspect of your holiday and I have written this new section to help
you arm yourself against these growing problems.
Orlando businesses and rental homes are having their toughest
time in history and when companies go bust, your money goes with
them.
Here is one example: if you have paid to hire a
villa and the home is reposessed by the bank before you take your
holiday (over 50,000 Florida homes reposessed in September alone),
you will lose your holiday slot and your money.
This new section will help you plan your holiday with the Credit
Crunch as your number 1 concern and it should be
Here
are some readers comments:
"Thanks for all of the information, the speed it
was delivered and the content were both impressive,
Although we have previously visited the Caribbean and
the USA this will be our first trip to Florida but I
already know that just by reading your guide we have
gained years of experience and knowledge.
It
was money well spent, you have already saved us the
cost of a theme ticket before we set off and I know
that with your guide packed in our hand luggage we are
going to be ready to start saving from the moment we
arrive".

Hello Mr Brit,
I would just like to say 'thank you' for your wonderful
2009 Orlando guide! It is just what I needed and far
better than any book I could have bought. The DVDs you
get from Disney and Flexticket are a tad 'sugary sweet'
so your guide was a welcome relief. I have heard lots
of great things about Sleuths so will definitely visit
the show!
I have been to Orlando but not for a long time, so I
am really excited (not as excited as my other half,
who has never been before!). I have been nominated to
drive when we land @ Sanford, which I was really worried
about, but your map has given me so much more confidence!
Thanks very much for the guide.....
Best Wishes
Liz

Hi
Francis
I have spent £ and £'s on 'other'
guides to Orlando and Theme Parks. Yours is the
best ive read. Your information is clear and easy
to understand, its like having someone sitting
with you, explaining where to go. I love the lists
of places to eat, ( kids eat free ). I have twin
boys of 5 and travelling to Orlando is never easy.
I wish i had your guide on my last two trips -
i WOULD HAVE SAVED A FORTUNE !
Your advice on how to get the best deal buying
Disney and Universal tickets is great and how
to save time when queue-ing with young children.
I can see you've put a massive amount of time
and effort into this guide, thank you so much
!!

"...best
money we've spent towards a holiday. This is much
better than a book and we didn't realise half of
what would be in the guide so it got better and
better as we read. Some of your comments in the
theme park reviews made us giggle and this made
the guide even harder to stop reading.
Thanks a lot for contacting us about the new feature
you added after we bought the guide, the breaking
news section saved us around £110 and we loved
the guide anyway.
We are travelling to Orlando in about 6 weeks but
if we ever travel again we will be looking to buy
another copy if you release any more Fiona
